7 Yr Old St Pete Cancer Survivor : Selling Lemonade To Help Kids
First, here’s the address. Now, the story of a very special and beautiful little girl named Caroline Gallagher. She’s 7-years-old and she’s an amazing young lady. She survived leukemia and now she wants to help other children who are going through the same thing by having a lemonade sale this Saturday, June 5th. It runs from 10 am until 2 pm only, so plan for it!
It’s very difficult to prepare for such a huge event, that’s why Caroline’s sister Charlotte helps with the task. Drivers will line up outside the family’s home on Saturday morning and the lemonade will be brought to their cars. Last year, despite COVID-19, the girls made over $20,000.
The timing of the lemonade sale is not random, it coincides with Lemonade Days, which is a nationwide lemonade sale in various locations to raise money for childhood cancers. Caroline still goes to the hospital for checkups every 3 months, but things have been going very well for her!
There is not a price for the lemonade, but donations are accepted. Every cent of the donations will go to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Please give as much as you possibly can. Thank you! Full details are at www.cclemonade.com.
