Florida’s Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday Starts This Week
Hurricane season is approaching and the 20-day sales tax holiday called “Disaster Preparedness” starts up on May 28th and runs through June 6th. Some of the items you will be able to purchase with no sales tax are: flashlights under $40, batteries less than $50, coolers less than $60, tarps under $100 and generators less than $1,000.
