Weekdays 10a-3p

Our friends at WalletHub did a little diggin to find the top cities to find work in 2021. Top 3 are Salt Lake, Orlando, and Atlanta. Not too bad, St Pete is at 27, Tampa at 13. No sign of Clearwater. Sorry about that.

Markets are rated on job saturation, livability, housing, and transportation options for commuters. Unemployment rates for new college grads (age 20-24) are at the “kinda stinks” level. No help from the pandemic. But April was at 10.5%.

Employers indicate they are hiring more new grads (7.2% more) in 2021 than 2020, so that’s better. Well, a little.

Check out the study and city map at WalletHub HERE

1.  Salt Lake City.

2.  Orlando.

3.  Atlanta.

4.  Austin.

5.  Columbia, South Carolina.

6.  Charleston, South Carolina.  It’s the only state with more than one city in the top ten.

7.  Seattle.

8.  Overland Park, Kansas.

9.  Durham, North Carolina.

10.  Scottsdale, Arizona . . . and Tempe just missed the top ten at #11.

I trust dogs and horses, love country music, and country fried chicken. Fought many men, and loved only 1 woman. She's from Nashville, so the accent. Life is short. Make somebody smile, Dog-gonnit. Haaaaaa.
