Driverless Shuttle Zips You Through Dunedin
Well. As long as your definition of “Zip” is 15 miles per hour or less. This is really cool for beach front and downtown areas where parking is a mess. If there is any parking at all. Find a parking spot, even a bad spot, and shuttle all over – all day.
At this point, it’s just a pilot program. There are two routes in Dunedin. One goes down Main Street downtown and the other on Douglas Avenue past the TD ballpark where the Toronto Blue Jays play.
But, I can’t wait to check it out. I hear there is talk of doing the same in Clearwater at some point. I went there once and it took me an hour to get over the bridge, only to find zero parking. They need this bad!
