We all get in a rut. Even if we “do cool stuff” most (or some) weekends. Sometimes its good to branch out and try some new cool stuff. Every week The Times puts up their Top 10 list. Let’s take a look and pick our Top 3 in countdown fashion.
New on the countdown at #3 this week: Pups & Pirates. Anytime you can bring your pups, I’m interested. The Bay Area Renaissance Festival has a pirates and pups theme. So all 10 million pirate costumes (including for the pups) can come out of the Gasparilla closet. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Weekends through May 23. Withlacoochee River Park, 12449 Withlacoochee Blvd., Dade City.
Cooking up the charts at #2 on the countdown: This Taste Of South Tampa thing sounds deeeeelicious! (I like food too) Great chance to spread your food tasting wings and break away from fair food with unlimited samples and a beer garden. You had me at unlimited! $40-$50. 1-4 p.m. Sunday. Tampa Garden Club, 2629 Bayshore Blvd.
And, of course (golf course) at #1 on the countdown this week: Yep. I LOVE GOLF. The PGA Tour is back at Innisbrook. Yes, I’ve played there, but lost money that day. Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, and Patrick Reed are three favs for this one. If you can’t get out there, most of it is on TV. So, just swing by the house and bring plenty of beer. 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday-Sunday. Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, 36750 U.S. 19 N, Palm Harbor.
I can only pick three. But, lots of other cool stuff too, including music, theatre, and dance. Not only the State Fair, but a Deep
Fried Dash Run through the State Fair. Check out the Top 10 From The Times HERE
