Everybody knows a nice coffee can help you stay (or get) alert. The question is: How many cups to be alert as you can be before you get the shakes? This new study found the magic number of coffee cups is 5. Five cups will get you to the point where you’ll be the most alert, help your memory, and ability to learn things faster.
For me, 5 cups. Too much. To be fair, the study estimates from 3 to 5 cups is the sweet spot.
Experts even compared MRI scans between regular coffee drinkers and those who didn’t drink any coffee at all. They found coffee drinkers had a more “efficient” brain connectivity. So, even 1 cup a day can help you stay sharp.
