To Stream Or Not To Stream. That Is The Question.
How much streamin are ya doin now? Haaa. seems like we went from Zero to 100 at my house during the pandemic. Yep, Mandelorian. The Flight Attendant, Jack Ryan, Warrior! Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Rarely had the time or wanted to spend the money on any streams before the pandemic. Now we have Amazon, Netflix, HBO+, and of course Netflix. Tell us what you’re streaming now, and what you’re lovin! Some experts say “streaming fatigue” could kick in as restrictions begin to lift in 2021. I just need 1 more season or Warrior. Too much to ask?
Americans are now spending an average of $47 a month on streaming services. That’s up 24% from last April, when we were spending $38 a month. 49% of Americans subscribe to FOUR streaming services . . . while 13% of us use SEVEN OR MORE. Obviously, the pandemic has a lot to do with the increase . . . but the launch of several new platforms including HBO Max and Peacock helped. Not surprisingly, Netflix is the #1 streaming service. It’s followed by Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, Peacock, and Apple TV+.
