A Pirate. The Coast Guard. Stolen Tiki Hut.
It’s Key West Baby! Let’s have a little fun in the sun. We’ll start at the bar, of course. Yo Ho Yo Ho. A pirates life for him? When you’re drinkin hard and then, one of those “life comes at you fast” moments. One minute, you’re enjoying a drink in a tiki hut, the next minute, you’re a wanted pirate on the high seas. There’s a 26-year-old guy named Tyln Morlang from Independence, Missouri. And he was in Key West, Florida this week. On Wednesday morning, he was drunk and found his way onto a floating tiki hut . . . there’s a company that has these tiki hut-style charter boats with a bar on them. And . . . Tyln turned on the ignition and drove off.
The U.S. Coast Guard wound up tracking him down off the coast of Key West. He was arrested for felony grand theft.
