Interactive Kiosks Coming to Downtown Tampa

Downtown Tampa is getting a tech upgrade!

Starting in the spring of 2021 as you walk through downtown Tampa you may see 30 interactive kiosks. They give users information about the area, such as parks and businesses, plus directions. The kiosks will also offer free internet as WiFi hotspots! They have a sneak peek of one setup at the Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park.

The Downtown Tampa Partnership made the announcement and the program is being paid for by IKE Smart City, who already has similar kiosks in cities such as St. Louis, Baltimore and San Antonio.
