Armature Works Drive-In Movie Theater Adds Holiday Lineup
The Rooftop Cinema Club at Armature Works just added a bunch of holiday movies to their lineup and this might be the most perfect way to celebrate the holidays outside of your house.
All of the festive fun starts on Black Friday, November 27th, and runs through December 30th. This is happening seven days a week and it kicks-off with one of my all time favorite Christmas movies: Elf
Not only will the films get you in the holiday spirit, Rooftop Cinema Club will also decorate the drive-in and they will be hosting a “Deck the Cars” decorating contest. They will be giving out prizes on surprise nights, so be prepared to have a lot of fun. If you were wondering, Santa will be in attendance and will be window-washing. He is spreading some joy by cleaning your windshield and taking gift requests.
Films will be shown on a giant 52-foot movie screen and attendees will be ushered to their 10-foot by 15-foot parking space keeping all vehicles up to 10 feet apart. Film audio can be picked up through local FM stereo in the car, or you can bring a portable radio if you prefer.
Food and beverage will be available on-site, with contactless order and pickup for cinema snacks such as popcorn, candy and soda through an online portal and you can also head across the street to Armature Works to order food and drink. Concessions will also include hot cocoa, coffee, gingerbread cookies, candy canes and more festive treats. Outside food and beverage will not be permitted.

They will continue to host $5 “Community Screenings” every Sunday for those impacted by COVID-19 and also those in support of local causes. 100% of the proceeds from these screenings will be donated directly to Feeding Tampa Bay and to The Spring of Tampa Bay. Guests can check the film program online for the “Community Screening” banner to find those events and book tickets. Since launching its first U.S. drive-in experience in May, Rooftop Cinema Club has raised over $40,000 for charities across its four markets in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas and Tampa. That is incredible. On top of that, they will also be accepting food donations.
Items guests should donate include: canned fruits and vegetables, canned meat, boxed meals, breakfast items (cereal, instant oatmeal, etc), baking and cooking items, rice and beans, pasta and sauce, condiments, snacks, Ziploc bags, unopened cleaning products and unopened hygiene products.
