Tampa Bay To St. Petersburg Ferry Is Resuming Service
The Cross Bay Ferry, which connects St. Pete and Tampa by water, will again be available again starting November 1st! Not a lot of traffic on the bay like on I-275 to get from one place to another.
On the Tampa side of the bay, the ferry boards behind the Tampa Convention Center, and in St. Petersburg at the North Yacht basin, adjacent to the Vinoy and St. Petersburg Museum of History. The boat is big enough to carry 149 passengers, though, for health precautions, the capacity is limited to 50%.
You can visit the Cross Bay Ferry website to purchase tickets and get details on sailing times.
The ferry does not run on Monday or Tuesday. The cost is $10 for adults each way, $8 for seniors, $5 for kids 5-18 and kids 4 and under are free (Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). There are snacks and drinks available for purchase aboard the ferry.
