“All My Rowdy Friends” Will Not Be On ‘Monday Night Football’ This Season
When you sit down to watch Monday Night Football on ESPN this season you will not hear Hank Williams Jr.’s song “All My Rowdy Friends”. The reason that ESPN has given is because of COVID-19. They’re saying the song “will not resonate for games that will be contested in mostly empty stadiums.” The song they are going with this season is Little Richard’s song “Rip It Up” that uses his voice mixed with instrumentals by a band named Butcher Brown.
There is no word on if Hank Jr.’s song will be back next season.
