Deaf Man Adopts Deaf Dog From A Florida Rescue And Teaches Him Sign Language
Well, this is the cutest thing ever. Nick Abbott, of Maine, adopted a black lab mix that he happened to have something in common with: the pup is deaf and so is Abbott.
The dog was rescued from a shelter in Florida and ended up in Maine at the NFR (North Florida Rescue of Maine).
Abbot is 31-years-old and was born deaf. He felt an instant connection with the pup named Emerson and said that Emerson has already learned quite a few commands in sign language.
