Florida Back-To-School Sales Tax Holiday
It’s a time of year I definitely don’t look forward to. If you’ve browsed through any number of stores the past couple of weeks, it is evident that the time of summer that many of us dread is creeping up on us–Back To School supply shopping. The Street says it turns out that many parents are already stressing out about the annual trip to get the kids ready for the new school year.
According to a new Retail Me Not report, August 5th will be the busiest back-to-school shopping day this year, followed by Labor Day, September 4th. Other busy back-to-school shopping days include August 4th, August 12th and August 13th.
The biggest thing about it stressing people out isn’t surprising–it’s how much parents expect to spend with 63% saying they’re likely to drop at least $100 per child on school supplies this year and another 33% saying they’ll likely shell out more than $250 per kid.
At least we get a little bit of a break here in Florida with the upcoming Back To School Sales Tax Holiday, coming up August 4th-6th. Click HERE to get all the details on what is–and is not–included in the savings.
