Spookala 2024: Popular Horror Movie Actors To Appear In Tampa
Some of your favorite Horror movie actors will be in Tampa at the Florida State Fairgrounds for Spookala in early April.
During the weekend of April 5th through 7th, actors, including Cassandra Peterson, otherwise known as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, will descend upon Tampa.
In past years, the horror and pop culture convention has featured some of Hollywood’s most recognizable celebrities. Tom Arnold, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes (Jay & Silent Bob), Chris Sarandon, Freddie Prinze Jr. and so many more.
Which Horror Movie Actors will be at Spookala in 2024?
Originally taking place in Ocala, Spookala moved to Tampa in 2023. This year’s celebrity lineup features Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, Grace Van Dien, and Rapheal Luce from “Stranger Things.”
Wayne Knight of “Jurassic Park,” “Seinfeld” and “Toy Story” fame will be on hand all weekend. Actors Matthew Lillard, Melissa Barrera, David Arquette, Skeet Ulrich, Liana Liberato, Tony Revolori, Mikey Madison, and Rory Culkin represent the “Scream” franchise.
Elvira, Mistress of the Dark actress Cassandra Peterson will be at the event on Saturday and Sunday. She’s been on “The Munsters” and “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.” Cassandra has been Elvira for decades, ever since she began hosting a local horror movie show back in 1981. Classic scream queen Adrienne Barbeau, who appeared in “Swamp Thing,” “Creepshow” and “The Fog” is also scheduled to appear all weekend.

Some non-actors making appearances include Puddles Pity Party, a singer who competed on “America’s Got Talent.” Drummer Jay Weinberg, whose resume includes Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, along with his father Max. You’ll also be able to meet filmmakers Eli Roth and Sean S Cunningham.

Single day tickets are available $40-45, VIP starts at $275, and all sales are final. Children 10 years-old and under get in free.
