On the MJ Morning Show, we were discussing the Ric Flair incident that occurred in Gainesville where he had a heated confrontation with workers at Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza.
Ric Flair’s visit to Gainesville was because he was there to celebrate a family member’s graduation. Video came out after the incident, and the video is circulating on social media.
In the video, you see Flair in a heated discussion with the staff at Piesanos, and it turns into a huge scene. The WWE Hall of Famer took to social media to complain about the verbal altercation. Piesonas Stone Fired Pizza, also took to social media to give further context into exactly what happened. Their manager said that Ric Flair was “being drunk and disorderly” and even “wooed” into a blind grandmother’s face while acting obnoxious.
We asked listeners to reach out if they happened to have Ric Flair's phone number. We called him, he answered, and we got to hear his side of the story.
Flair told the MJ Morning Show, "I’m with my wife and my stepdaughter who's got a degree in criminology and is going to work in the FBI and they(workers at the bar) came on so strong that she got scared and ran out the door."
According to Flair, the confrontation came about because of an incident that occurred in the bathroom between him and one of the kitchen workers. Flair talked about an accident he was in back in 2017 and how that still affects him, presumably physically. Flair hinted some comment was made by a Piesanos worker.
The Nature Boy went on to explain, “When I’m put in an area where I’m uncomfortable…I got upset…It caught me off guard because we were having a wonderful time.” We also found out that after the incident, Flair put in an Uber order from the same place where the confrontation occurred.
"I ordered food to-go at Piesanos and at 6:00 they delivered it…They actually have great food.”

My Pics at WrestleMania 37 in Tampa
Wow what a night. I was a huge pro wrestling fan as a kid. In college I was a ring announcer but that career was cut short because I was too tall. My last WrestleMania was back in 1988. I’m gonna keep the tradition going and go every 33 years. Looking forward to WrestleMania 70.

Even as show time approached, it looked sketchy. Night 1 had a delay. Was looking like it might happen again.

OK... I lucked out big time. Ticket prices plummeted the week of the show so we got 4th row ringside behind the announcers! My producer Chuck and I are ready to rumble! Or drink beer and watch pro wrestling.

This Bray Wyatt guy kills me. Love his character. Longtime 80s wrestling fans probably remember his father "IRS" or Mike Rotundo.
