Dr. Fauci appeared in a senate panel yesterday and gave a bit of insight into schools reopening this fall.

Parents are probably reading this and dreading the thought of having to continue to homeschool past the Summer. Dr. Fauci, the US director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said school openings should be on a case-by-case basis depending on the impacts of the virus in the area. Florida is slowly opening but our kids might not be learning in the classroom at the start of the Fall semester.

There is some good news, there are eight vaccines in clinical trials but he said not to expect them at the start of the 2020-2021 school year. The Florida Department of Education wants to reopen campuses this fall, but no decision has been made.
