Priority will be given to teachers and others who work in schools and child care. There is no cost but they say to bring your insurance or Medicare card. If you don’t have health insurance, you’ll need to show your driver’s license. The link to register is: publix.com/covid-vaccine
The state announced a earlier this week that the minimum age to get the vaccine for the general public will drop to 60 starting Monday. At the moment, those 65 and over can get the vaccine. The exceptions include those who are “medically vulnerable,” work in health care or are 50 or over and are school employees, firefighters, or in law enforcement. [Source: Channel 8]
