Country Artists Covering Bob Seger Songs

Bob Seger is coming to Tampa in 2019. This news made my year. Clearly I’m not the only Seger fan. Check out these QYK artists covering his music.

99.5 QYK's sister station Q105 made the announcement today that Bob Seger is coming to Tampa in 2019. This news made my year. I flew to Connecticut last year thinking it might be one of my last chances to see Bob live. I grew up on Seger music. My mother and aunt listened to his live album "Nine Tonight" over and over. I didn't love his music then, but grew into a huge fan as an adult. Bob is in his 70s and has had health issues over the past few years that have caused concert postponements, but hopefully this is a sign he's feeling good. I'll be honest. You won't hear the higher notes he hit back in his day. But if I can go that hard when I'm in my 70s, it'll be a miracle.

I'm not the only Seger fan in country music. Take a listen to some of these covers from your favorite QYK artists.

Know of another good one?
Let me know @WQYKGeno and I'll add it.
