New Years Eve Free Rides and Extended Late Night Service in Pinellas County
There’s never an excuse for drinking and driving. There are so many easy options like Uber and Lyft today. Plus there are companies like AAA offering free towing. Getting a DUI on New Year’s Eve is completely avoidable. Thanks to the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA), you now even have one more option to avoid driving drunk.
Which Routes Will Be Free?
Buses along the most popular routes for New Year’s Eve revelers will be FREE on December 31, 2023. Plus they’ll run much later than usual. The PSTA made that announcement today on social media. The SunRunner (which takes you from downtown St. Pete to the beaches) and Suncoast Beach Trolley (which runs up and down the coast from Clearwater to St. Pete) buses will all be fare free. You can also take the 4, 52, 59 or 60 with no charge. Services will be running on extended hours until 1AM for all those routes.
