Tampa Couple Uses A Child To Scam Elderly Victims
Let’s hope these two get caught FAST. Let’s help Tampa Police find a man and a woman who allegedly used a CHILD to get into an elderly couple’s home. Once inside, police say they stole money, jewelry and prescription drugs, according to Fox 13.
Here’s what we know. It’s happened twice – once on October 31 and again the next day on November 1. One was on W Platt, just to the east of Himes. The other was just a few blocks away, north of Kennedy and west of Himes. The scammers told the elderly victims that they once worked on the home’s roof and they ask the residents if the child can use their bathroom. They’re described as Hispanic and believe they are driving the black 4-door Chrysler seen in the photo below. One commenter on the Tampa PD Facebook page thinks it’s a 2012 Chrysler 300 Limited. The child is about 6 years old.
