Growing up, were you an avid watcher of Double Dare, Keenan & Kel, or Are You Afraid of the Dark? These days our kids follow in our Nickelodeon loving footsteps as fans of PAW Patrol, Spongebob Squarepants, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Thanks to a partnership with Lion Star, Everest Place, and Paramount, they’re bringing back the nostalgia and building a Nickelodeon Resort in Kissimmee which is set to open in 2026.

What Happened To The Old Nickelodeon Resort?
I’m sure kids that grew up in the 90s and early 2000s remember the old green and orange resort from back in the day. It was super popular among families because it was more affordable than Disney and Universal and had its own waterpark on site. According to Themeparktourist.com, the resort declined in popularity not long after the opening. They speculated it was because of the proximity to the other parks and the disinterest in live filming’s.
