Final Weather Forecast for Gasparilla 2024: The Invasion, Parade and Fireworks
There shall be no timbers shivering this year at Gasparilla. And you should be able to leave the umbrella at home. But those timbers could be shivering Sunday. Here’s the breakdown of the weather forecast for Gasparilla’s biggest events for the day tomorrow (January 27, 2024).
Parade Forecast
Saturday will be our last day with higher than normal temperatures and humidity in the Tampa area. When you wake up temps will be hovering right around 70. If you’re going to catch the Invasion of the Jose Gasparilla at 11:30AM, temperatures will be in the mid 70s with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will continue to climb to near 80 degrees as The Gasparilla Parade of Pirates along Bayshore follows starting around 2. By the time it winds down at about 5:30pm, we should drop back down to the mid 70s. There is a small chance of a passing drizzle, but no significant precipitation is expected during the daytime events.
Saturday Night
After the parade, the party continues at Curtis Hixon Park and MacDill Park until about 8. There will be live music on several stages, headlined by the Seven Nations Celtic Rock Band. The “Piratechnic Finale” Fireworks Show will start at 7. At that point, we should be closer to 70. The good news is precipitation is expected to hold off until around midnight. When that happens, we’ll see about a 10 degree temperature drop on Sunday. Those normal, cooler temperatures in the 60s should stick around for most of next week.
