Miranda Lambert Picks Up ‘Tequila’ On The Side Of The Road

A stray kitten on a country road is likely in dire straits. Luckily for one particular kitten, it was a road that Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan was driving on.

Miranda shared on Instagram along with pictures, “Two lane highway in Texas, speed limit 70. Brendan slows down and does a U-turn… Me to B: “why are you turning around? “B to me: “there’s a kitten in the road and I knew you would kill me if I saw it and didn’t stop.” Well I guess the rescue ways are rubbing off on him. We stopped at mom and dads on the way home. Dad has a new bestie.”

She added, “This kitten rode 9 hours back to Nashville with us and 3 dogs and was such a champ. He is 4-5 weeks old and weighs 14 Ounces. Y’all welcome Tequila the kitten to the family! #tequiladoes @muttnation.”

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
