REWIND: Ashley McBryde Superstar Mini Concert
Ashley McBryde just released her album Never Will and we loved having her as our next Mini Concert. Learn more about her new album and how she’s been getting ready for festivals to come back.
“If you’re out there on the front lines, I’d like to say thank you personally. If you’re keeping the wheels spinning and keeping our country moving, we really owe you a lot.”
Ashley has been finding herself falling in love with old habits, like cooking. She’s also been practicing some new skills for when festivals start back up again. “Playing with the dog, and trying to get better at Cornhole so that when all of the festivals pick back up, I’m not the worst player.”

One Night Standards was a collaboration between Ashley, Nicolette Hayford, and Shane Mcanally. “We sat with it for the entire afternoon and all of a sudden, the phrase ‘one night standards’ fell out which replaced what was in the original chorus.”

Martha Devine is Ashley’s take on the cheating song. “Normally, cheating songs come from the point of view of the person being cheated on or the person doing the cheating. In this case, we chose to take the perspective of the daughter, who’s just a little bit overprotective of her mother.”
