Morgan Wallen did not disappoint with his Superstar Mini Concert performing Whiskey Glasses, Chasin’ You, and This Bar. He’s been staying busy during quarantine, but this time has allowed him to reflect on how touring and all of you mean so much to him.
With his downtime Morgan has managed to stay busy, including just moving into a new place, getting a puppy, and binge-watching lots of shows. He also had a message for people that may not have had down-time, “For those of you who have had to work, I appreciate what you’ve been doing. I know I speak for so many others when I say that.”
Whiskey Glasses was Morgan’s second single and propelled his career forward. “It really blew my mind on how that song has changed my life and changed my whole crew and band’s life.”
Morgan wrote Chasin You about five years ago when he moved to Nashville and was one of the first songs he ever wrote.”It’s one of my personal favorite songs to sing, I guess ’cause it’s one of my most personal songs.”
This Bar was written about things that Morgan, his friends, and really anyone has experienced in a bar, including breakups, a friend passing, and finding yourself. “Some things you miss, some things you don’t, but this song has a little bit of all of that in it.”
“I’ve always really appreciated the ability and the means to get out there and come see you guys in your respective towns, but this whole thing has really made me realize how much it really means to me.”
