Dolly Parton Donates $1 Million To COVID-19 Research
Dolly Parton has been very active on her socials since the COVID-19 pandemic with videos of hope and thanks to health care workers.
Now, Dolly has donated one million dollars to Nashville’s Vanderbilt University Hospital to help pay for research to find a cure for the coronavirus.
She posted to Instagram, “My longtime friend Dr. Naji Amburad informed me that they were making some exciting advancements towards research of the coronavirus for cure.”
Dolly added, “I am making a donation of $1 million to Vanderbilt towards that research and to encourage people who can afford it to make donations.”
Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s.
