Dolly Parton To Read To Children Online Each Week
Dolly Parton posted on Facebook this week that she will start reading to kids every Thursday night for the next couple of months.
Dolly – who calls herself “the book lady” – said that she’s been wanting to do this for a while and now with everyone quarantined at home due to COVID-19, she finally gets the chance to find the time to do so.
The new weekly online program will be called “Goodnight with Dolly.”
Parton said in part, “I want you to join me April 2 when I start ‘Goodnight with Dolly.’ I’m going to be reading some stories from the Imagination Library.”
