Florida’s Texting and Driving Bill Signed Into Law
It’s a done deal. Today Governor DeSantis signed into law that bill aimed to stop texting and driving in Florida.
Beginning July 1, 2020, texting and driving is going to be a primary offense. That means you can pulled over for JUST texting and driving. As the law is now, to get cited for texting and driving, you need to be pulled over for something else, like speeding or running a red light.
