It’s bad enough when health inspectors find a cockroach problem at your restaurant. But a dead frog near the buffet? Yeah that’s really bad.

Channel 10 reports that’s exactly what was found at Palm River Café, a Cuban on Palm River Road in Tampa.

Palm River Cafe had about two dozen violations, including food storage issues and flies were “swarming around rice on the buffet.” They were shut down on September 14 to correct the problems according to the report.

As bad as all this stuff sounds, they must be doing something right. Palm River Cafe has nearly perfect reviews on Google, Yelp and Facebook! On all 3 ratings, they have 4-1/2 out of 5 stars. That’s not easy!
