It seems like every day there’s a new angle to this awful story that just makes you angrier.
Charisse Stinson’s lie about little Jordan being kidnapped cost you, the Florida taxpayer, a half MILLION dollars according to an ABC Action News report. The costs associated with the false Amber Alert come from police officer overtime, fuel, equipment, and many other expenditures that needed to be made. 15 agencies were involved in the search for Jordan.
Lying to officers could add another 5 years to Stinson’s sentence. Tacking on 5 years seems trivial to me… 500 years vs 505 years. What’s the difference? -Geno
