No AC In Some Hillsborough County Classrooms
Has this been an issue at your child’s school?
TampaBay.com reports students in schools all over Hillsborough County are forced to deal with temperatures in the high 80s in classrooms.
What’s making the problem even worse is an attempt to secure the schools to keep them safe. In order to prevent those who shouldn’t be in the school from getting it, teachers aren’t allowed to open windows or doors to get a breeze.
The state doesn’t have any official laws in terms of temperature in classrooms.
This problem is definitely not a new one. This report aired a year ago on ABC Action News.
