Carly Pearce: My Parents Sacrificed Greatly For My Success
Let’s hear it for the moms and dads out there. So often they sacrifice for their children’s success, a narrative that’s especially true when it comes to country music newcomer Carly Pearce.
The “Every Little Thing” singer likely wouldn’t be where she is today without her parents’ selfless support. “My parents let me quit high school at 16 and home school, and kind of separated their marriage so that my mom could move with me to Pigeon Forge, so I could sing at Dollywood,” Carly explains through her record label. “And through the years they’ve supported me and loved on me and given me the tools to be able to chase this crazy dream since I was a little girl.”

Carly’s parents are naturally pretty happy with the outcome. “This is very, very much a dream come true not only for me but for them,” she says. “I’m an only child and I’m so close to them and I owe them so, so much for everything that they’ve sacrificed for me.”
Look close and you might see her folks on enjoying one of her concerts. Carly is currently on the road with Brett Young and has upcoming shows in North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia and Tennessee. See a complete list of dates here.
