Carly Pearce’s Celebrity Crush Might Surprise You
Ryan Gossling, Harry Styles, Nick Jonas. Those are the kinds of names you expect to hear when a young woman is asked about celebrity crush. Unless that young woman is Carly Pearce, that is.
Carly’s celebrity crush might surprise you. “My celebrity crush is kind of hilarious,” she says through her record label. “I am obsessed with Dan Tyminski from Union Station. You guys may know him from [the movie] Oh Brother Where Art Thou. He is the voice of that song.” “That song” is “Man Of Constant Sorrow,” performed in the 2000 movie by a George Clooney-led Soggy Bottom Boys.

Perhaps Carly’s crush shouldn’t be too surprising. She did spent time in a bluegrass band, after all. “I love him,” she continues. “I freak out every time I see him … every time I see him in concert Im just like, ‘Oh my God, it’s Dan!’ So, make fun of me because it’s weird.”
Carly’s got other things to be excited about these days, though. The rising star and “Every Little Thing” singer is preparing for the release of her debut album October 13th. Get a list of Carly’s upcoming tour dates here.
