Eric Church Has Top Country Tour Globally
Eric Church‘s song “Record Year” is taking on a whole new meaning.
The Top 20 Global Concert Tours list, which is based on data supplied by Pollstar and ranks artists by average box office gross per city, shows Eric Church at No. 8, according to The Washington Post. “The Chief” pulled in a cool $864,876 per stop with an average ticket price of $60.58, making him the top-grossing country act on the list. Blake Shelton was the only other artist from the genre and his take is nothing to sneeze at. The Voice coach and “Every Time I Hear That Song” singer was No. 11 with $723,045 per city and average ticket price of $62.11.
As for Eric, he may have said things best. The superstar took to Twitter this week with equally impressive numbers for his Holdin’ My Own Tour.
