Tampa Bay’s Hometown Morning Krewe

George Strait is at Raymond James Stadium this Saturday, August 5th. We here in Tampa have been waiting almost 10 months for this show. October of last year is when George announced his stadium tour dates. Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town will be performing before King George hits the stage Saturday night. George has 60 #1 songs, so he has more than enough songs to choose from for his show in Tampa.

George played two shows this past weekend in Nashville. The second show was cut short due to weather, so the songs listed below were performed at the Friday show. George kicked off his show with a song that everyone knows, “Write This Down”. Even though George has 60 #1 songs he still plays covers during his concert. He plays a Waylon Jennings cover called “Waymore’s Blues”. George also plays two Merle Haggard songs called “Misery And Gin” and “The Fightin’ Side Of Me”.

Chris Stapleton comes out about halfway through the show to join George for three songs in a row. They perform “Pancho and Lefty”, “You Don’t Know What You’re Missing” and “Love’s Gonna Make It Alright”. George has an encore of five songs including “All My Ex’s Live In Texas” before closing with “The Cowboy Rides Away”. That song is perfect to end the show with.

Check out some more of the songs that George Strait will perform at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday night.
