We have Tim McGraw Tampa concert information for you! If you are headed to his “McGraw Tour 2022” at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheater on Friday, May 6th, here are a few things you should know.

Remember the Amp is no longer allowing OUTSIDE LAWN CHAIRS in their venue. Here it is in writing:

The Amp will have lawn chairs available to rent for $10 each, subject to availability. Just in case you were wondering, blankets are still allowed in the lawn area. Scroll down for what is allowed/what’s not allowed in the venue.

So before you go to the Tim McGraw show at The Amp on May 6th, make sure you remember their new lawn chair policy.

Please keep in mind things can change quickly and often. We will try to update this Tim McGraw Tampa concert information page as it comes in, but please also check the venue website for info as well.

13 Things To Know For Tim McGraw’s Tampa Concert

• Tailgating fun!

  Get to the Amp early so you can come tailgate with the 99.5 QYK staff will be hanging out at our tailgate and they can’t wait to meet you! Plus, you will have a chance to win some QYK prizes and pose in our Tim McGraw concert-themed photo booth.

• Do I Need To Have A Negative Test Or Proof Of Vaccine?

  We are hearing that you will not need to show your vaccine card or take a Covid test to get into the Tim McGraw concert.

• *This Is A Mobile Ticket Entry Concert*

  All 2022 events will be Mobile Entry. That means your mobile device will be used to gain access to the event. Tickets will not be emailed or available for print (for previously scheduled shows where you selected print at home or mail, your tickets will be honored accordingly).

  CLICK HERE to get details on how to access your mobile tickets. Make sure your phone is fully charged and increase your phone screen brightness to assist with ticket scanning. The venue suggests you add your mobile ticket to your wallet or transfer tickets to friends before reaching the gate.

• New Lawn Chair Policy

  To reduce contact with customer belongings Outside Lawn Chairs are no longer permitted in the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre. Lawn chairs are available for rent at $10.00 each subject to availability.

• Items ALLOWED to be brought in to venue: *subject to change per event, check the Day of Show tab 

  According to the Live Nation Venue website, here is what’s allowed*:

  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (4.5”x 6.5”).
  • Blankets
  • Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses
  • Food – in a clear, 1-gallon ziplock bag
  • Umbrellas- small/parasol

• Items NOT-ALLOWED to be brought in to venue include, but are not limited to: (Subject to change)

  According to the Live Nation Venue website, here is what’s not allowed*:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Alcohol
  • Bags that don’t adhere to our bag policy as outlined above.
  • Illegal drugs/substances
  • Umbrellas
  • Glass containers
  • Cans
  • High profile camping/bag chairs
  • Hard sided/large coolers
  • Laser pointers
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Fireworks.

• Bag Policy

  To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, they have implemented the following bag policy: they will allow clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags no larger than 4.5”x 6.5” (the clutch bags do not need to be clear).

• Mask Policy

  According to the venue website, masks are recommended for those who have not been vaccinated.

• Parking

  Parking lots open two hours prior to venue gates opening. General parking is included with your ticket. Please enter via US-301 or MLK Blvd for general parking. ADA parking is available across the street from the east side main entrance for no additional charge. For ADA parking, please enter via Orient Road.

  Premier Parking is available for every event. The price will vary based on the event. This can be purchased prior to the show via www.livenation.com or on site at the venue pending availability. Premier Parking is located on the southwest side of the venue across the street from the venue. Premier Parking does not guarantee early exit out of the parking lot.

  Day of Show Parking – Accessible Parking is located outside the venue, directly across the street from the main entrance on the east side. Let the parking staff know that you need accessible parking and they will direct you to this lot. If you do not absolutely need accessible parking- please park in the general lots.

  The VIP lots are located on the west exterior of the venue closest to the VIP Club entrance. Guests must have a pass or be on the parking list to access these lots. Guests can enter through any road entrance and be directed to these lots.

  MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre parking lots are reserved for concert fans only.

• Drop Offs

  Drop off areas are located at the Martin Luther King Blvd Entrance in the yellow lot. Please let the parking staff know that you are dropping someone off and they will direct you. Guests cannot remain in their vehicles during the event- they must drop off and return 45 minutes prior to the end of the show. If you are not back within 45 minutes of the end of the event- you will not be allowed to enter until the majority of cars have exited the parking lot. Local law enforcement will shut down all incoming traffic and only allow traffic out of the venue.

• Concessions & Purchases

  Concessions are located throughout the venue. All points of sale will only accept credit, debit, or mobile pay (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay).

  MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre offers a wide variety of alcoholic beverages for purchase during your time at the venue. You are not permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages into the venue.

• Banners and Signs

  Signs larger than 8.5 X 11 in are not permitted into the venue. This size is a standard sheet of paper. We do not allow in banners or signs that are larger than this due to the potential to block other guests view of the performance. All signs must be appropriate in nature and not be a distraction to the artist.

• Set Times

  Parking Lots: 3:30pm
  Gates: 4:30pm
  Alexandra Kay & Brandon Davis: 7:10pm
  Russell Dickerson: 8pm
  Tim McGraw: 9:15pm
