The Bucs regular season came to an end Sunday with a 9-0 win over the Carolina Panthers. The win gave the Buccaneers the division title again and, most importantly, secured a playoff spot. Monday night (January 15), the Bucs will host the Philadelphia Eagles at Raymond James Stadium. This will be the fourth straight season the Bucs have moved on to the postseason. It’s a special accomplishment, especially given how many figured the Bucs would be in a rebuilding year without Tom Brady at quarterback.

Both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Philadelphia Eagles are banged up so the extra day of rest could be helpful for both squads. Baker Mayfield had a noticeable limp in the Bucs win today. He only had 137 yards on the day. Fortunately the Bucs defense came up big. As for the Eagles, Jalen Hurts has been struggling too with his finger injury. Pro Football Talk reports that X-rays showed no fracture. We’ll know more Thursday when the Eagles issue their injury report. As for now, Hurts is considered day-to-day.

Congratulations to the Bucs on their third straight NFC South title win. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished the season with a 9-8 record. But keep in mind there was that stretch when they lost 5 out of 6 games, making playoff possibilities seem pretty bleak. Check out these photos from field level from the game.
