Tampa Unveils 2025 Event Calendar Featuring 12 Big Festivals
The city just announced an exciting lineup of festivals coming to Tampa from winter through spring 2025. The fun kicks off when pirates take over Bayshore Boulevard during the popular Gasparilla Festival on Jan. 25.
“It started out in 1904 as a Mayday celebration to kick off the summer,” said Daniel Carpenter of the Henry B. Plant Museum to Fox 13 News.
The little ones get their turn first at the Children’s Gasparilla on Jan.18. Kids can join bike races, watch airplanes soar overhead, and enjoy fireworks lighting up the night sky.
The State Fair brings carnival rides and snacks to US Hwy. 301 N. from Feb. 6-17.
Ybor City comes alive with lights and music during the Knight Parade on Feb. 8. Al Lopez Park transforms into a food lover’s dream when the Taco Festival brings 30 vendors serving up their signature dishes on Feb. 22.
Music fills the air at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park as performers hit the stage at the Gasparilla Music Festival, happening Feb. 14-16. When March begins, local artists and food trucks come together for the Festival of the Arts during the first weekend.
Movie lovers can enjoy the Gasparilla International Film Festival March 27-30. The area near 15th Street comes alive with celebration during Tampa Pride on March 29.
Food takes center stage when celebrity chef Robert Irvine hosts the Tampa Bay Wine and Food Festival. Six mouthwatering events, including an exciting Chef Showdown, happen from April 8-12.
Spring wraps up with Riverfest taking over the Tampa Riverwalk on May 2-3. This free celebration brings live music, food vendors, and floating balloons to the waterfront.
