Things To Do In Tampa This Weekend
It’s the first weekend of December and if you’re in the mood for some Christmas festivities, you’re in luck. There’s always so much going on in Tampa, but this weekend, you’ll have a ton to choose from. Here are a few options of things to do this weekend in Tampa.
Friday: December 1st
The Stageworks Theatre is hosting the Great Christmas Cookie Bake Off Musical. The musical is about eight cookie chefs competing for the top prize at the Cookie Coliseum. The show will run from 8PM-10PM. For more information and showtimes, visit here.
Also on Friday, you can join Mike Evans Family Foundation for a night of creamsicle-themed drinks, auctions, food and more at the AMF University Lanes. This is the 5th annual Catch for Christmas Bowling Night with Mike Evans. Proceeds go to the foundation to provide gifts and experiences to local kids and families in need. Saturday: December 2nd
This one is for all you Tampa Bay Lightning fans. Between 9AM-2PM, you can pick up authentic Tampa Bay Lightning gear from the locker room for the Tampa Bay Locker Room sale. The event will be at the Pepsi Porch in Amalie Arena. For more information, checkout the Facebook event notice here.
For an afternoon full of fun, head over to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park for Tampa Santa Fest & Tree Lighting. The event starts with a parade through downtown, photo ops with Santa, and continuous entertainment for the whole family. At 6PM, you can count down with Tampa’s Mayor and watch Tampa’s Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Sunday: December 3
Start your first Sunday with the Tampa Holiday Gift Market at Water Works Park. You’ll see small businesses, artisans and crafters at the holiday market. Stock up on unique Christmas gifts and support local businesses. There’s plenty of fun for the whole family and photo ops with Christmas’ favorite characters. For more information, visit here.
