Tripadvisor.com‘s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best list for Top Overall Experiences in the United States shows off some things to do in the Tampa Bay area. Three of the experiences ranked in their top 10 in the country.
Leading off the list is the Clear Kayak Tour of Shell Key Preserve. The two-hour tour is done with clear kayaks. According to Tripadvisor.com, it takes guests through the waters of Tampa Bay to see the wildlife in a way that’s unique. Not only did this experience rank #1 in the U.S., but was also #4 in the world.
Also representing the Tampa Bay area is the chance to “Swim with the Manatees Includes In-Water Guide and Photographer”. This experience ranked #3 on the list. This involves three-hours of swimming with manatees in Crystal River. They’ll provide what you need when you get there (boat, snorkel gear, wetsuit). Your guided tour will teach you about the manatees and the ecosystem, and also take pictures for you.
Ranked number 8 in the U.S. is the “Private Boating On The Hurricane Deck Boat” from Clearwater Beach. You’ll go out on a private boat tour with a captain who will bring you out into the Gulf of Mexico. See dolphins and quiet beaches, or jump into the Gulf.
