New Grocery Store Chain Coming to Brandon In September

A Phoenix based grocer has its eyes set on the Tampa area. 10 new Florida locations are planned for Sprouts Farmers Market, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

A Brandon Sprouts location will open September 1, 2021. It’ll be located in Lake Brandon Village near Causeway Boulevard. There are plans for another store in the Tampa area, but the location for that one has yet to be revealed. The first Florida Sprouts location opened in Carrollwood back in 2017.

Sprouts says they’re looking to hire about 100 employees and will host an online job fair July 21 and 22. Mostly known for organic and natural foods, Sprouts will face fierce competition with Tampa area shoppers at established popular grocery chains like Whole Foods and Trader Joes.
