Scotty McCreery won the 10^th Season of American Idol in May of 2011.

In October of the same year, Scotty released his debut studio album, Clear as Day, which produced the top 20 country songs, “I Love You This Big” and “The Trouble with Girls”. McCreery released a Christmas album, Christmas with Scotty McCreery, in October 2012 and it sold over a half a million copies.

It wasn’t until five years later when Scotty released his single “Five More Minutes” that he scored his first number one song. It topped Billboard in February 2018.

His most recent album, Seasons Change, was released in March 2018 which became McCreery’s fourth top 10 album in the United States.

Personally, McCreery married his longtime girlfriend Gabi Dugal. The couple were married on June 16, 2018, in North Carolina.
