Miranda Lambert Says ‘I Use the Stage for My Own Therapy’
Miranda Lambert was back home performing in Dallas, Texas.
She is currently on tour with Little Big Town as the opening act. She told a near sold out crowd, “I use the stage for my own therapy.”
She went on to say, “I had a [expletive] year in 2015, but the good news is, I’m a songwriter.” Right after she went into a powerful solo rendition of “Tin Man,” her most recent ballad that was inspired by her divorce from Blake Shelton. The song goes, “You give me your armor, and you can have my heart,” she sang, to the metallic man in The Wizard of Oz.
The stage is therapy for Miranda.
