Something You’ve Never Heard Before On a Dierks Bentley Song
“The Mountain” is finally going to be loaded up on your phone this weekend. Dierks Bentley’s new album drops Friday. When I spoke with him at the ACM Awards, he was clearly excited about three of the songs we haven’t heard yet. Jump ahead to the end of the clip to hear him in his own words describe “Burning Man,” a song he did with The Brothers Osborne – a song he hopes becomes a single, “How I’m Going Out” which details how Dierks wants things to go at the end of his career, and “My Religion.”
That last one, “My Religion,” will bring something never heard before on a Dierks Bentley song… a piano. The lyric in the hook is “Loving you isn’t my decision. Loving you is my religion.” Can’t wait to hear it Friday!
