Charlie Daniels: “Never Look At The Empty Seats”
“Devil Went Down To Georgia” was probably the first song I loved as a kid and last year, the legendary Charlie Daniels called in to the show. It was my first time having a chance to interact with the man behind “Never Look At The Empty Seats.” His new book speaks to his point of view on life – accentuate the positive.
We talk about his early experiences at the Opry as well as the moment he found out he’d become a member. Now a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Charlie still shows no signs of slowing down. If you’ve see one of his recent Tampa Bay concerts, you’ve seen that.
I was also curious about his involvement with raising money every year for The Angelus home in Hudson.
