For transplants like me, the news of a chain coming to Florida gets me excited. When you think fast food, you usually think burgers, chicken and tacos. But what about cheap and fast Italian? Fazoli’s is coming back to Florida and one location is opening up here in Tampa Bay. A Twitter friend spotted this sign in Plant City.
The rumors were true!!! The first @Fazolis in central Florida is coming to Plant City!!!!!!!!!! pic.twitter.com/tR7GWgIP22

Some research shows the restaurant will be at 238 W Alexander St in Plant City. Hiring began this summer. The other Florida location will be in Pensacola.
I think I used to go to a Fazoli’s when I worked for a radio station in Tallahassee. That location closed. To be honest, I don’t really remember much about it. Reading Twitter comments, it seems the thing that stands out more than anything else… the bread sticks. Loyal customers say they crave them, saying they’re better than the ones at Olive Garden.
We'll be in Plant City soon! We're projected to open in late November, early December! Can't wait to see you!

Have you been to Fazoli’s? Tweet @WQYKGeno with #FazolisFlorida and let me know. This guy’s reviewed the $5 lunch they offer.
They took our two locations away in palm harbor and new Port Richey ????

I’m actually pretty excited about this! Their breadsticks are amazing and they are unlimited.

Fazoli's is good food. Especially the garlic bread.
