Shooting Breaks Out Moments After Jason Aldean Concert Ends
Gunshots rang out in the parking lot following a Jason Aldean concert on Friday evening at BancorpSouth Arena.
Police in Tupelo, Mississippi responded to a shots fired call shortly after Aldean’s concert had concluded.
According to ABC News, an altercation broke out in the parking lot and a man was shot in the chest. One man was arrested at the scene of the incident.
The altercation stemmed from some sort of argument that broke out between a group of concertgoers. The suspect fired around four to six shots — striking the victim and several vehicles in the area.
The suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Michael Hulbert.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital. At this time, his name has not been released, however, he was discharged earlier today and his injuries are not believed to be serious.
No other information was immediately available.
