McDonalds’ New Soft Serve Looks Like a Minion
Have you caught Minion fever?
Well here is another delicious piece of memorabilia that you have to add to the collection. If you are headed towards Hong Kong, you have to stop by a McDonalds. They are currently celebrating the upcoming release of Despicable Me 3 with some Minion-themed menu additions.

One new addition is a soft serve ice cream cone. Very similar to a vanilla soft serve, the only difference is that the ice cream is banana-flavored. McDonald’s choice to make the ice cream fruit flavored is a nod to the little yellow guy’s obsession with the food. The ice cream also rests on top on a blue cone! The two items together make for a dessert version of the animated character.
The best part of this whole addition is that it only costs $1. Needless to say, people on social media are going crazy for the sweet treat. Those fans who have managed to get their hands on the limited edition item have said it tastes similar to banana milk. According to PopSugar, there is currently no word on if the item will be available in the United States.
There are also three other Minion-themed items on the menu. One of our favorites are the Minion Potatoes. They seem to be a take on French fries but are shaped as the hilarious character. Mcdonalds Hong Kong also has Minion-themed spicy chicken McNuggets as well as a Banana Pie.
As stated before, there is no word on if the items will be added onto a menu near you. However, we can only imagine how delicious all of these snacks would taste. In our humble opinion, the banana pie looks as though it would be stellar. If anyone wants to travel to Hong Kong or if anyone reading this article lives in the location, you should send some treats over to the states. After all, happiness is only real when shared!
