We got some rain this weekend and more is coming this week, but the water restrictions we’ve been talking about go into effect today (June 5, 2017). Here’s what you need to know:
You are allowed to water your lawn once a week. Same goes for washing your car – just once a week. The restrictions are in effect for Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pinellas and Sarasota Counties.
From the city of Tampa website, here is the day you can water the lawn at your place:
At addresses ending in 0 or 1 – Mondays;
At addresses ending in 2 or 3 – Tuesdays;
At addresses ending in 4 or 5 – Wednesdays;
At addresses ending in 6 or 7 – Thursdays;
At addresses ending in 8 or 9 – Fridays
